Going to great heights to save lives

CFW4 – Mt. Washington
a little about...

Water is life. Everyone knows that. But did you know that around the world nearly 1 billion people do not have access to safe drinking water and 2.6 billion are without adequate sanitation facilities? Everyday, 5,000 people die from water-related illnesses, and the majority are children. We have a responsibility to see that everyone has a chance to share in life’s most basic need. We are a group of water industry professionals and mountaineering hobbyists whose mission it is to climb great heights to bring awareness and financial assistance to the cause. “Water isn’t property. Everyone has a fundamental right to have clean water available to them. But sometimes it takes a team to make it happen.”

Climbing Expedition History

CFW1 - Kilimanjaro

The expedition that started it all. The original team of 4 travelled to Tanzania to conquer the highest mountain on the African continent. We had a 100% success rate with all 4 reaching the summit on September 2, 2011.

Total raised $15,112.

CFW2 - Pikes Peak

The next adventure took us to Pikes Peak in Colorado, USA. Though shorter in elevation, the size of the team multiplied by a lot with a total of 20 climbers successfully reaching the summit on September 15, 2012.

Total raised $15,556.

CFW3 - Cotopaxi

Our most recent expedition to Ecuador was the most difficult one yet. A technical climb that took us higher than ever before, Cotopaxi was beautiful but dangerous. Just 2 of our 7 person team made the summit on January 25, 2014.

Total raised $11,435.
